2009 ended with a bang for us - within a month our dishwasher died, motherboard fried, car was hit in the parking lot while we were replacing our dead PC, ceiling fan caught on fire and could have easily burned the house down, and our fridge crapped out. Our new fridge was delivered today, the last step in putting everything back in order (until the stove or furnace dies, anyway).
